Our Extended Christmas Returns Policy is now in place.
We want you to have a stress free Christmas shopping experience, so for all orders placed after Wednesday 1st November 2017 we're extending our returns policy to Friday 12th January 2018. During this extended period, if for whatever reason you or the recipient are unhappy with all or part of your purchase, your order may be returned as per our usual policy.
We have taken care in presenting our product images as accurately as possible. However, the images you see will depend on your monitors specifications and settings. It is also important to note that all of our gemstones are natural and as a result some differences in colour may occur as no two gemstones are identical. We are therefore unable to guarantee that items purchased on this website are an exact representation of the merchandise.
Product Availability and Pricing
Prices can be viewed and orders can be placed in one of three currencies: Pounds Sterling (GBP), Euros (EUR) and US Dollars (USD). As a result of exchange rate fluctuation there may be slight variations in product pricing depending on which currency is selected. The native currency of Gold Boutique is Pounds Sterling. With exception to potentially erroneous prices, the prices displayed on this website in all currencies are final.
Each and every piece of jewellery purchased through Gold Boutique is made to order. This is good news! It ensures all items can be classified as in stock and ready to ship within two business days. The vast majority of online jewellery stores have potential lead times of two to three weeks – we decided to do something about that, therefore fulfilment is guaranteed on every item.
We try very hard to ensure typographical and system errors are kept to an absolute minimum. We adopt strict quality control measures and utilise an exceptionally reliable server base. However, discrepancies and typographical errors in pricing, product descriptions and product specifications may occur. Gold Boutique reserves the right to correct any inaccuracies and subsequently cancel orders as a result of the aforementioned possible errors.
Sales, Offers, Coupons and Price Reductions
Our best possible prices are currently beside each product and therefore we are not open to negotiation, the prices of single items are final. From time to time we do offer discount codes as part of a sale or promotion. We aim to have all orders dispatched within 3 business days of payment clearing. Occasionally certain items incur a slightly longer manufacturing and processing time and can therefore take a maximum of 10 business days before the item is delivered. To avoid disappointment please purchase well in advance if your order is for a date specific occasion. All orders are dispatched by FedEx Express delivery which has a usual turnaround time of two working days for mainland UK and two to four working days for non-mainland UK and countries outside of the UK. As soon as an order is dispatched you will receive an e-mail containing your FedEx tracking number and instructions on how to track your order online. If you require your order urgently, please contact us and we may be able to assist you.
Insurance and Security
All shipments are fully insured and traceable for peace of mind. We require each and every order to be signed for upon delivery which will require someone to be present at the delivery address. In the unlikely event of a lost or stolen package we will get in touch immediately to rearrange delivery for you.
Worldwide delivery is available; however Gold Boutique reserves the right to cancel any order destined to what Gold Boutique classifies as a high risk country, address or postcode. In some cases and in the interests of cardholder and merchant security we may ask for proof of address or card ownership. This can be achieved by sending copies of utility bills or bank statements. All information received will be dealt with confidentially.
Alternative Delivery Address
Orders can be dispatched to alternate delivery addresses from the one registered to your card. However, in the interests of security we do recommend that your alternate shipping address is registered on file with your card provider or bank. We may call you in an attempt to clarify card or address details if you are having the order shipped to an address which is different from the billing address.
If you have provided your mobile telephone number our courier service, DHL will endeavour to text you when your order is on route which gives you an option to leave in a safe place. If the leave safe option is chosen, Gold Boutique would not be liable for any occurrences of the order being declared lost.
It is not always possible to trace the origins of a gemstone after it has been cut and polished. But at Gold Boutique we select our diamond and gemstone suppliers very carefully ensuring that every piece we sell has been mined responsibly. We are members of the British Jewellers’ Association and thoroughly support its high ethical standards.
